LEEP IS A NEWSMANS AWARD WINNING PROGRAM FOR INOVATION

The Law Enforcement Equipment Program (LEEP) is in need of used law
enforcement equipment.

LEEP, founded by Steve Newton a retired Chief of Police, Marine and Navy Veteran, Founder of Silver Star Families of America (SSFOA) and a published author started LEEP to help provide used police equipment to Iraq and Afghanistan Police.  "I believe that it is our responsibility to assist our Armed Forces in any and all ways possible."

DISCLAIMER

LEEP is NOT A 501 c 3, however LEEP IS a NOT-FOR-PROFIT. LEEP does not house many items, but does help donors find resources to ship the large amounts of equipment. 100% of all funds is used on LEEP.  The Law Enforcement Equipment Program is a non profit that facilitates the transfer of equipment from one law enforcement agency to another.  The award winning LEEP program helps transfer equipment only to the United States Military, other American Law Enforcement Agencies or to American Agencies that further the cause of freedom and the rule of law no matter their location.

LEEP and the agencies that donate to LEEP, donates all equipment in an "as is" condition and takes no responsibility for the condition the equipment may be in or of the use or abuse of said equipment.

Anyone accepting used equipment from LEEP acknowledges that the equipment is used and may not be up to current standards and they agree to hold LEEP and the donor agencies or individuals harmless in any and all circumstances in regard to the equipment donated.

Same goes for training.  If you get a piece of equipment, such as a PR 24, it is your responsibility to abide by your departments training requirements.

In other words what you see is what you get.  Your applying for equipment means you accept these terms and forever agree to hold LEEP and any donor harmless.

As a recipient it might also be appropriate to drop a line to the donor agency to say thank you.

LEEP is here to help bring surplus used equipment to those in need and everyone needs to use common sense in the use of said equipment.

LEEP helps transfer used police equipment for our Armed Forces to be distributed to overseas security.  However we have had so many requests from American law enforcement agencies that need equipment and with the wars winding down,  we have decided to give them a place to post their needs on this site.  Agencies with a surplus can send to America agencies or our Armed Forces.
